With the Oscars happening this weekend, I’ve had cinema-themed art on my mind—like the work of Max Dalton, a Buenos Aires-based graphic artist whose portfolio includes a number of pieces based on films. The illustration above depicts a Ferris Bueller board game, and awesome doesn’t even begin to describe it.
I also love Dalton’s Wes Anderson-inspired creations, including a rendition of 111 Archer Avenue (the house in The Royal Tenenbaums) and a deck of playing cards featuring characters from various Anderson movies. Although a few of his limited-edition works can still be purchased at Spoke Art, most are already sold out. I can’t say that I’m surprised that they’ve been so popular!
