I’m on an art kick right now—looking to refresh my décor with new, affordable art. I’ve had my eye on quite a few pieces over Permanent Press Editions for a while, and have been slowly narrowing down my selections. It’s tough because Shana Faust and Alexa Mulvihill, the founders of PPE, offer such a wonderful range of original, archival-quality photographs.
Together, the duo has years of experience working in the fields of art direction, styling, and photography. I love that the first PPE collection, which launched late last year, pays tribute to everyday objects like a pair of eyeglasses and a box of colored pencils. The prints are designed so that they are great hanging solo, or as part of a grouping based on a color or theme (like these, for example). Right now, I’m leaning towards getting several of the swimming-related images to line a bathroom wall. And I’m already looking forward to PPE’s next collection, which will be released this summer.
